Terms of use for this website, and key terms for working with BUILT.
About these terms
These terms apply to your use of this website, operated by Built Domestic and Commercial Ltd, Linton Barns, Ross-on-Wye, HR9 7RR. Building work is carried out under a separate written agreement, which takes priority over these terms.
Website information
We aim to keep information on this website accurate, but it is for general guidance only and does not form an offer or a contract. Prices are only confirmed in a written quotation following a site survey.
Surveys and estimates
Site surveys are free on properties you already own. Pre-purchase estimates for properties not yet purchased cost £250 + VAT, which is refunded in full on your first invoice if you book the work with us.
Payment
We do not require an upfront deposit. Work is invoiced fortnightly based on an agreed percentage of completed work per item, as set out in your agreement.
Warranties
New build houses carry a 10-year warranty. Extensions, conversions and all other work carry a 1-year warranty. Full warranty terms are set out in your project agreement.
Insurance and accreditation
We are CHAS accredited and hold £10M combined public and employers' liability insurance.
Intellectual property
Content, branding and images on this website belong to BUILT and may not be reused without permission.
Liability
We are not liable for any loss arising from reliance on general information on this website. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
